Go to this Chowhound post and click on the link. The attached pdf file has some of the worst writing I have ever read on a menu or off.
By the time I was done reading the description of "Sweet Fire and Ice," a restaurant in New Orleans (hint: they have 25 different cheesecake-flavored martinis) I had lost my appetite.
Overblown, adjective-stuffed, repetitive - it is an English teacher's worst nightmare. Made me laugh. Your mileage may vary.

Its like any other craft. As you get better at it, you can more easily pick out the flaws in the work of others.
For instance, I left out an important apostrophe in the last post.
I think the menu had only about 3 things that did not have green onion. Over and over, "with green onions . . . with green onions"
Another restaurant without a personality- *sigh*. Don't we have many of those already?
Sue- I have tagged you for a childhood memories meme. This one is quite long but quite a lotta of fun. Hope you will play along...
can someone repost this? I'd love to get my hands on the SF & I menu ... it sounds like it might be even better than the Friday's menu ...
The original link is gone ...
